A history-making day of fun and celebration!

Tolland’s 300th Anniversary Celebration on Saturday, Sept. 19 will be a day packed with fun events. Here’s the schedule:

9 a.m.–11:30 a.m. Tolland Farmers Market on the green
10 a.m.–4 p.m. Arts of Tolland Craft Show, Arts Center on the green
11:30 a.m.–2:30 p.m. Tolland Lions Club will sell refreshments on the green
1 p.m. The Tolland 300th Anniversary Parade, on the green
3 p.m.–8 p.m. Celebrate Tolland/Tolland 300th Picnic, Tolland Middle School featuring:
2:30 p.m. Music by Um-Pa-Pa Daddio’s German Ensemble
3 p.m. Tolland High School Jazz Quintet
3:30 p.m. Bending Gravity Entertainment
4 p.m. Bluegrass music by Dick Bowden’s Flying Circus
5:30 p.m. Bending Gravity Entertainment
3 p.m.–5:15 p.m. Old-fashioned games for kids and adults
4 p.m.–5:30 p.m. Zumba and tai chi performances
4 p.m.–6:30 p.m. Two vintage baseball games by Friends of Vintage Base Ball
5:30 p.m. Bending Gravity Entertainment
6 p.m.–7:30 p.m. American music and Tolland trivia with the Town & Country Duo
7:30 p.m.–8 p.m. Tolland 300th Anniversary Closing Ceremony

At the picnic, have the kids visit the bounce houses and face-painting booths while you sample the great food from seven Tolland-area eateries and visit more than 40 vendor and town agency booths.
