Integrated Rehabilitation Services lends its support to the Tolland 300th Anniversary Celebration

Integrated Rehabilitation Services of Tolland has become the latest major donor to support this year’s Tolland 300th Anniversary celebration.

Integrated Rehab has made a $1,000 donation to the anniversary celebration, making it the 11th “Crandall” level sponsor of this year’s anniversary events. Donors to the anniversary effort are listed at www.tolland300.org.

integrated_rehabThe company will be represented by Julie Paolino and Americo Rodrigues when it is honored by the town council, the 300th Anniversary Committee, and its partner, the Tolland Historical Society, on April 28 at 7:30 P.M. in council chambers at town hall.

Founded in 2001, Integrated Rehabilitation provides physical therapy and athletic training services in seven locations in north-central Connecticut, including an office at 9 Fieldstone Commons in Tolland. For 14 years, Integrated has served the communities of Connecticut with a strong commitment to quality, compassion, and clinical expertise.

Rodrigues said the company made the donation because “we recognize that Integrated’s success is a direct reflection of the ongoing support we receive from the communities we serve. Our patients are our friends and neighbors. We are proud to be able to support such a memorable celebration for the Tolland community.”

Celeste Senechal, chairwoman of the anniversary committee, said she was grateful to the company.

“Integrated is the latest of many Tolland businesses that are supporting the 300th anniversary this year,” she said. “We could not hold so many memorable events in 2015 without their vital support.”

The anniversary committee, historical society, and many civic groups will be holding dozens of events to mark the anniversary this year. They include a Charter Day celebration for schoolchildren on the Tolland Green May 12, a gala on May 16, and a tour of historic homes and museums on the green June 7. The Tolland Founders Monument will be dedicated June 13, and a large regional parade and townwide picnic will end the celebration on Sept. 19.

Businesses and residents can still donate to support the celebration. Opportunities include being a member of the “Tolland 300 Club” by making a $300 donation. Checks should be made out to the Town of Tolland, with “300th anniversary committee” in the memo line. Donations can be mailed to the Tolland 300th Anniversary Committee, Town Hall, 21 Tolland Green, Tolland, CT 06084.
